Phone-based Road Condition Intelligence

Road condition screening built for teams that need more visibility between formal inspections.

Phone-based Road Condition Intelligence combines smartphone sensing, route context, backend ingestion, investigation workflows, and pilot-stage scoring to support practical road-condition intelligence across municipal, rural, and industrial networks.

Solution preview coming soon

The current system is past concept-stage planning and into working field validation. It can capture trips on iPhone and iPad, persist and upload runs, process them through a backend pipeline, and support investigation through maps, signal review, capture validation, and provisional KPI scoring. We present it as a solution engagement rather than an off-the-shelf service package because the right rollout depends on route design, operating conditions, validation criteria, and how a customer wants to integrate the output into maintenance or inspection workflows.

What this enables

  • Supports a recurring route-level screening layer between heavier inspection cycles.
  • Frames pilot success around repeatability, review workflow fit, and segment-level usefulness instead of inflated accuracy claims.
  • Can be positioned for municipalities, regional road networks, haul roads, or other operational environments where coverage cadence matters.

Best fit for

  • Public works, transportation, or pavement asset teams that need more frequent network visibility.
  • Regional or rural operators who need a scalable screening input across large geographies.
  • Industrial or mining road teams that want a practical monitoring layer before investing in heavier instrumentation.

Capabilities

01

Real capture-to-review workflow

The platform already supports live telemetry, trip capture, local persistence, upload flows, backend ingestion, investigation views, and provisional scoring across real captured runs.

02

Pilot structure that makes operational sense

The documented pitch and validation approach focus on defined routes, repeated passes, and agreed proof points such as repeatability, screening value, and maintenance prioritization fit.

03

Investigation tooling, not just a score output

The current system includes capture validation, event review, map overlays, and signal-study workflows so teams can inspect why a run looks the way it does rather than treating the result as a black box.
