The uConsole Ham Hat ecosystem combines hardware-oriented radio workflows with actively maintained control software. Integrated SA818 radio control
The companion software supports serial discovery, connect and disconnect flows, version reads, radio programming, filter and tail settings, and operational feedback for SA818-based setups.
APRS workflows beyond simple packet playback
The platform supports APRS direct messaging, position and intro packets, reliable ACK and retry behavior, RX monitoring, station tracking, groups, contacts, thread-based history, and offline map workflows.
Flexible field setup support
The ecosystem already supports both direct SA818 workflows and DigiRig-style audio/PTT operation, with an expanding path toward shared tooling across other hardware such as PAKT.
